This is an activity that can be used to target the phonological process of fronting.
Fronting is a term used when sounds that should be made at the back of the mouth (g, d) are being produced at the front (t, k). Examples: “tat” for cat. “doe” for go.
This resource is ideal for students who are fronting /k/ to /t/. The minimal pair set in this activity is pat/pack.
This resource is designed to get a high number of trials for this one minimal pair set.
Research has shown that it is more beneficial to get more trials with less target words rather than using a large set of target words and obtaining less trials. Read more about this topic HERE.
